Unfortunately the leading master in this field, who died recently, played on the other team so to speak. Eschewing the typical subjects of all the other modern masters, namely naked women, his work never really reached the prominence it might have had he featured naked women (or the artistic nude as the scholars would term it). While we are somewhat younger and newer to the field, our work has achieved much acclaim for our addition of naked women to the minimalist shapes that define the style. Great art requires naked women. So Get in on the ground floor while these examples are accessible (meaning cheap). P.S. Note the enthusiastic uninhibited posing of the model which occurs when the poses are for art.

Lucky us second because we happened to know the perfect model to illustrate Botchejelli’s preliminary concepts, classically trained art model Helga, with her rounded trim curves, long shapely legs, tapered waist, and a pair of perfect complementary renaissance attributes. I think we will all agree that these poses by Botchjeelli were far too breathtaking to remain hidden.

Pop Art: The Little Mermaid-Party Version
Original price was: $450.00.$299.00Current price is: $299.00.Add to cartA famous eighties era Eastern European competitive gymnast known as much for her hard partying lifestyle as her lack of medals got the idea of posing on the famous rocks in the Copenhagen harbor when the statue of the little mermaid was temporarily absent for restoration after years of abuse by graffiti artists. The poses were captured by a photographer who had a friend in the studio of a famous pop artist and thought they would make for an interesting capture in the pop style. Unfortunately the artist was gay and did not appreciate the artistic beauty and charm of these photos and never got around to releasing them. But we found them in some materials in an abandoned storage facility and thought that they deserved preserving and publishing.

Primal Red…Thespian Angst

Our acting classes have involved interpreting the intense and often passionate emotions from classic writings such as The Roadie and Juliet, Seasr and Cleo, Heartbreak Named Desiree, The Passion of Christmas and other classic works by great authors throughout the centuries. We ask the students to work through the emotions of certain climatic scenes completely uninhibited by any concern for conventional mores or mannerisms including clothing if such adornment would lessen the scene’s impact. Here we present Leslie, our most accomplished actress, interpreting a scene from a well known classic where the heroine’s betrayal by her lover sends her on an emotional roller coaster. The intensity of the strongly expressed emotions in the scene produce a very flushed image starting with her chest but not ending there.

And she loved clothes and clothes loved her. We found her stylish figure and body lines suitable for just about any dressy look. While she loved the fashion and style work she was very hesitant about the “art” look. We explained that a lot of fashion illustrators start their sketches with the perfect nude body and then sketch different outfits on the “perfect body” for their “first looks” and even press releases. And her body really was perfect for that slim sophisticated stylish looks so it was advisable to have some nude looks to go in her (and our) portfolio. Since she had never modeled before she did not know what was appropriate and what wasn’t. What girl doesn’t want to have the “perfect” body immortalized. Her published set of three are from the final shots in her first shoot, “Marilyn” style nudes on red background.
